1. Please send a few photos clearly showing all parts to be upholstered as a whole. Providing the boat's make and model will also help us calculate an accurate cost estimate. Please also share any design changes you wish to make. We will request measurements and further details if needed.
2. Once the cost estimate is approved, a production slot is scheduled. Please book well in advance, as our winter schedule often fills up a year beforehand.
3. You will then receive an order confirmation by email, which must be confirmed and approved.
4. Once the order is confirmed, we will schedule a meeting or remote design consultation to select materials and plan the work to be carried out.
!!Please note that to ensure the highest quality, we do not reupholster old boat mattress cores; we always custom-pattern new mattress sets. The need to renew bench padding is assessed on a case-by-case basis. A fitting visit may also be required during the project, requiring safe and smooth access to the boat, as well as adequate heating for work on-site!
Motorcycle Upholstery
1. For a cost estimate, please send a photo of the current seat, a side-profile photo of the entire motorcycle, and, if you request ergonomic modifications (e.g., tailored riding position), a photo of the rider on the bike, alongside any reference images of your vision.
2. You will receive a cost estimate and a proposed production date, which must be approved within 2 weeks.
3. Upon your approval of the estimate and timeline, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
4. Next, we will proceed with the design of colors, materials, and bespoke details.
For remote motorcycle seat orders, your order confirmation will include shipping details and comprehensive instructions on how to carefully pack the components and send them via postal or courier services.
Álomlux Products
1. Email us your contact details and specify the product(s) you are interested in. We will send you our price list and a pre-filled information form. Completing and returning this form allows us to issue an order confirmation and an estimated delivery timeframe.
2. Confirm the order by replying to the email.
3. We will then schedule the pattern-making appointment and finalize any remaining details.
Multi-layer mattresses and mattress toppers are always custom-made to measure. To ensure an exact fit and profile, they are patterned on-site. This is carried out either by our professional pattern-maker, or for distant locations, you may request our guide for taking the pattern yourself.
Cancellations:
For bookings cancelled after the order confirmation, we will invoice the design hours incurred, 5% of the total project cost, and the cost of any materials already ordered.
Payment Terms
For larger projects, specialized materials ordered for the job are invoiced in advance. Labor, standard supplies, and incidental costs are billed upon completion by invoice, cash, or debit/credit card. The payment method is agreed upon in the order confirmation.
